The Weight (Stop Marring Me)

the sunshine keeps blinding my half-opened eyes
this is an early morning after an unusual dream
i saw the wounds, the tears, the scars
and felt the endless pains
even my cry won’t help
the weight just pushes me
down, down, down…

will you please stop marring me?

it’s not just a dream ‘cause i can still feel the pain
i remember many mornings that were so much like this
i heard the screams, the shouts, the yells
that keep vexing my ears
even my sigh won’t help
the weight just pushes me
down, down, down…

the gibbous moon appeared to end the day
the sky is twilight, living me to dream
i wish the wounds, the scars, the hurts, the tears
will just efface
so my anguishes will end but the weight just pushes me
down, down, down…

ohh… ohh…
